PHDCCI, in association with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, has established Intellectual Property (IP) Facilitation Centres at New Delhi, Amritsar and J&K. The objective is to promote awareness and adoption of Intellectual Property Rights amongst MSMEs, individual entrepreneurs, start-ups and industry. The IPFC aims to strengthen their competitiveness, generate awareness and provide insights into the complex mechanism of creation, ownership and protection of Intellectual Property. In today’s highly competitive Global Economy, it is a must for businesses (particularly for MSMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs) that their IPs are adequately protected to help them generate increasing commercial value.
